How to convert a file?
To perform a file conversion please, do the following:
Go to https://apps66.com/convert/
If you have an account - log into it by clicking "Login" on the top right.
Add your file using the big button in the middle of the page.
Choose an appropriate output format in the menu near the file name.
Press "Convert" button.
Wait until your file is uploaded onto our server (this step may take a while if you have big file and slow internet connection or upload bandwidth).
Wait until your file is converted (this step usually does not require a lot of time).
Press 'download' button to get the result file. If you are logged into your account, your result files are stored for 24 hours on
your "Converted files" page: https://apps66.com/convert/account/files
Can I convert format X to format Y?
We support over 1000 formats and over 10000 different conversions. If you upload a file, you will see a list of possible conversion formats supported for this file type. However, if your desired format is not in the list, this means we do no support it at the moment. If you believe it to be important, please write us a note through the contact form and we will look into adding the conversion to our tools.
Can I get phone support?
Unfortunately, currently we don't offer phone support.
However, we do offer email support through the contact form.
We usually reply within 24 hours. Please let us know any feedback or questions you may have on our services.
Can I remove the ads?
Our site is free for basic users and financed by the ads. If you wish to remove all ads and have a fast and completely ad-free experience, please sign up for an Ultimate account under https://apps66.com/sign-up
. This not only removes all ads on all the sites in the Apps66 suite, but also puts you in the priority queue on the servers, so that your conversion is processed immediately. Also, your files are stored for 30 days, and you get priority support.
Can I trust you with my files?
We never share any data with 3rd parties. We convert TBytes of data each month. However, most of these files are Basic user files, which are deleted automatically after the conversion. The converted files are stored for 24 hours and deleted then, as well. If you wish to retain your files longer, or share the link with someone, please sign up for an Ultimate plan, which gives you a lot more additional perks, as well.
I converted a file and didn't receive a link to it - what happened?
If you provide us with an email address to receive links to your converted files, and did not receive an email from us, please first check your Spam folder. If emails keep getting marked as "spam" please add the email address firstname.lastname@example.org to your contacts list to maximise the chances of emails from us getting through. If you still cannot find an email from us in your Spam folder please report it to our support team at email@example.com.
I received a link to a file that I don't know about - What should I do?
Someone may have converted a file and entered your email address for notification - you can either ask us to remove the file from our records here or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can I convert the same file twice?
You can convert the same file as many times as you want.
I'm having problems opening my converted file after downloading - Can you help?
If you find after your conversion that the file will not open, please ensure you have the correct software in order to open your file. If you have the correct software, and the file still does not open then please report the issue to our support team email@example.com attaching the affected file.
I deleted a file that I converted through this site - Can I retrieve it from you?
You can use the link that was sent in your email if it is within 24 hours of the conversion, unless you have signed up to one of the conversion plans where you can manage your files as you wish. Within the free service we would suggest re-converting your file as we delete all files after a 24 hour period.
How many files can I convert at one time?
With our free service you can convert 1 file simultaneously. However, if you sign up for the Ultimate plan, you can convert up to 20 files at any one time, with no limits on the total number.
Why I am having problems uploading or downloading large files?
For free users we have a maximum file upload limit of 100 MB (for those with Ultimate accounts this limit is up to 2 GB). Depending on the amount of activity on the site, you may see slight variations in the timings for uploading and downloading files. If you experience unmanageable response levels please email our support team with details of the problem firstname.lastname@example.org.
What's the maximum size of files that I can upload?
Currently on the free Apps service you can upload a maximum of 150 MB of data split between up to 5 different files. If you signup for an Ultimate plan, you can upload files up to 2 GB in size.
How many times can I download my converted file?
You can download your converted file as many times as you like. Free users have 24 hours before their converted files are deleted from our systems. Ultimate account holders do not have this limit.
Does this work on MacOs, Linux, Android, iPhone?
Yes - you can use Apps66 on any operating system that has a web browser. Because the service is provided online there are no software downloads needed.
